I was commissioned by Sara and Lester Handley to make a portrait of
their son Pete, an exceptionally gifted percussionist, who died aged 25
in a tragic accident in November, 2014. The portrait shows Pete playing a
snare drum and it is to be used as part of an annual award for outstanding
percussionists. Rather than have to hand back the ‘trophy’ each year,
the winner will be able to keep a
3D ‘print’
of the original bronze
which has been scanned for this purpose. For further information about
the Award:

The bronze head of Leo Tolstoy was commissioned as part of a project to build a replica of Tolstoy’s Moscow garden study in Connecticut, USA.
Portraits of Camille Claudel and Johannes Brahms were commissioned for the top of 2 new brick gateposts. The busts represent the interests of the owners of the house.
